Pop up info tips

Hi, just a quick question from a new user. I keep losing the pop up info tip in explorer. It was working fine for ages then something happend and it stoped working. I got it back for a while somehow, now its gone again. It is ticked in the config settings at all times. I look in FAQ but no luck.

Try on other files, such a .txt files, do they popup the standard info?
