Hello im new to the board and was hoping that i can get some help on some issues. I recently compressed all my audio from MP3 to MP4 using the NeroEnconder. Although the audio is flawless and its compression size is absolutlly astonishing, the format file isnt compatible with many things just yet. So what i wanna do is convert from MP4 back to MP3. Only thing is that i have heard that when music gets compressed it loses its quality due to the compression. Now if i convert from MP4 to MP3 will i lose even MORE quality than the first time around? or is it safe to just convert back? Should i convert to WAV then to MP3? Please help me. :blush:

Nevermind, i did my own tests. If you compress an MP3 to MP4 you lose some noticible quality. If you do WAV to MP4 then your fine. WAV to MP3 is also great. But in order to compress you need to just convert MP4 to MP3 and your audio will not sound like it was prodiced in a hallway
