CODEC for CDA

Hello Again,

My problem continues.

When I want to Rip a CD File, dbpowerAMP fail.

The exactly message of error is:

The CODEC required to decompress 'E:\track01.cda' could not be opened. Unable to access CD Drive 'E:\track01.cda'

But with Kjofol y can read cd audio perfectly.

Please help me or send me the CODEC for .cda

It is this one, if you have Windows 2000/XP make sure you are logged on as Administrator or change the Ripping Communication (in CD Advanced).

I am logged in as admin but the cd ripping does not work.

CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track01.cda'
Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.

Also the powerpack from your site is corrupted I have downloaded it many times but it just comes up when I extract as corrupted. I can assure u it isnt my machine.

Often when you download a program Internet Explorer can sometimes only get part of it, then the next time it just uses what is in the cache. From Internet Explorer select >> Tools >> Options

click 'Delete Files' for the temporary internet files section.

On with the question, Open Audio CD input >> Options >> Advanced and select 'CD Communication' to 'Nt / 2000 built-in (limited)'

Proxy servers also tend to make a copy of the downloaded
file. If the original download was corrupted all subsequent
downloads will be identical (corrupted).

If you are using a proxy server (in your IE options) try
without (if your systems administrator allows this), otherwise
you'll have to wait until it's out of the proxy cache.

Most big companies use a proxy for their internet connection
because it adds security and reduces internet traffic.
