IDtag v2 writting on USB Key

With v10 of DMC, when I am converting some Mp3 from my Hard disk directly to my USB mp3 player, It is now very slow because of the " transferring Tag info 'xxxx' " phase for each track. Apparently it creates a temp file named <filename>.mp3.XXXXX. I suppose its purpose is to hold ID tag v2 info while shifting the audio data since the tag data goes at the start of the file.
But this kind of operation is Very very slow on a USB 1.1 Key device !!!!

Would it be possible to do this shifting / tag writing operation in RAM or in the temp dir while converting ?

The ID3 library does this automatically nothing I can do to change or speed it up - try enabling Caching on the USB disk, but be sure to eject it from windows to make sure tracks are written.
