WMV to MPEG

I'm in desperate need of finding the codec/software to convert a wmv file to an mpeg file!
If anyone can help me, please let me know.

You could try this Shareware http://www.boilsoft.com/asfconverter/news.html

Or use windows movie maker to convert to AVI then use several free utilities to convert AVI to MPEG

Ah, good idea, thankyou!
But i was hoping in finding something...free!
Any more ideas?
