svetaexplorer: Compaq PA-1 can't move files up or down

Just bought this program. I can upload/format my Compaq PA-1 32 Mb files. What I can't do is move the files up and down in the list. I get the error 'Compaq PA-1 Player' reported file count not be moved

I can do this with the horrible rioport software but I bought this program so I don't need to use that.

Can you help?

Unfortunately to access such devices as the Compact it has to go through Windows Device Manager, and those drivers do not have all the functions (such as move up and down) written into them.

then how come the rio tool can do this?

Because Compact went to Rio and said 'write us a program' and gave them the details of how to talk to the player, this information is secret only compact and Rio know the details. Everyone else (including Microsoft) have to go through the other drivers without this implemented.
