Crazy computer dead musician wants to convert file. What does this error message mean: The output file 'D:\Track04.mp3' could not be opened. My cd files say .cda My cd drive works how so how do I convert the file to mp3 HELP hollywood may call

How are you attempting to convert your cd tracks? Are you using the CD Audio Input program or right-clicking within windows explorer?

I assume that drive D: is your CD/DVD drive.

Are you using the CD Audio Input application to convert the tracks to mp3?

The cda files do not contain the actual audio data so it is not possible to right-click on them to convert them.

I have a cda file on a disk I want to convert to mp3. The file also exists in my real player and I can play it without accessing the disk,however when I do a file search all I find is a shortcut to that file in real. I checked the real help forum and found out after I purchased this stupid real thing I need to pay more dough to upgrade to be able to convert files.A friend suggested I dnld DB.But computer braindead that I am I cannot figure how to convert the files. When I go into DB I get the same message whether I want to convert to wave or mp3. The cd in my player displays,I select the track I want then get this error: output file 'D:\Track04.wav' could not be opened. output file 'D:\Track04.wav' could not be opened. Is it possible I did not download all db components?

Convert them to drive C not D
