The files won't play when I convert them from .ram to .mp3 (or any other extentions)

Yes, I have the codec to incode and decode .ram files. It's just that when I open the mp3 in Windows Media Player (V9), It won't play it. When I look in properites, it says the size is 0 bytes. It dose this EVERY TIME I do it. I am running on Windows 2000 Profesinal. Maybe I'm missing something obvious but still, please help!

RAM files can often be the playlist rather than the audio file, if it is a few KB then it is a playlist.
