Power calibration area is full

When writing to CD, dBpoweramp writes 40% of the disk and then pops up an error message:
>"Power calibration area is full".
I can't find any reference to this message anywhere.
What is it telling me?
What do I have to do?
And since it has done that to every CD that I've tried, is there a way to still use the CD's? :cry:

First thing I would try is a different brand of CD-R disc, perhaps also look to update the CD drive firmware.
