    Copy Controlled

I have just purchased a copy controlled CD (Seal IV - Warner Music) - this utilises a program that auto installs on your PC to allow access.

I did not allow the app to install and I also tried the Left Shift key to prevent Autorun, but neither dbAmp player or converter will see the CD as an Audio CD - only a Data CD (with the above mentioned app sitting in the directory structure).

I am not one of these people that rips music for distribution (all of my music is legally obtained) - only for copying to my Treo 600 for playback via PocketTunes, or for playback off my hard drive when I am on the road. It shits me that I am not able to copy music I have purchased for this purpose. If there is no way around this then I will happily take the CD back for a refund!!!!!

Is there a way around this???

    I am running XP Pro - with a Matshita UJDA730 DVD/CDRW.

    Any advice or suggestions welcome.

Try Audio CD Input >> Options drop menu >> Standard CD Player emulation >> table of contents detection

I did try that and I do get one entry appearing in the list of tracks but nothing else and if I try and play the entry nothing happens.
      Thanks,

Then: Audio CD Input >> Options drop menu >> Standard CD Player emulation >>

select the other option that is there, and manually type the lengths of the tracks.
