    Extract cover.jpg from ripped library

I knew how to do this years ago, but can’t recall now nor have I been able to locate the solution in the forum. I want to use Batch Converter to scan my entire NAS-based music library and create a new file titled “cover.jpg” in every folder for all albums where there is embedded artwork in each folder.

    How do I do that?

    Thanks!

    Hey David,

use the converter "ID Tag Update" and config the export under the registry card "Manipulation". That's it.

      Thanks Dat Ei,

I tried that with an old Windows version (I&*8217;ve been on a Mac for a while now). I ran a test after installing dBA and the codec, but found that it converted the entire album and overwrote the earlier version, in addition to creating the desired cover.jpg

How do I create cover.jpg without updating the music files?

      See here for screenshots.
