Problem with Nero AAC Release 2

I downloded and installed Release 2 (after removing Release 1) but I could not get the dbpowerAMP Music Converter to connect with Nero.

I've gone back to Release 1 and all is well again!

Is there much difference between Release 1 and 2. As the new version has a much smaller installer size.

In the Help for nero codec (at the bottom) does it say what has changed (cannot remember off the top of my head).
