Does dMC convert if it's not necessary?

If I'm batch-converting a folder of MP3s to CD-format WAVs where some of the MP3s -- but not all -- need first to be resampled to 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, do the tracks that are already in CD format also get subjected to the resampling DSP, or does dMC skip the resampling on the files that don't need it and simply transcode them to WAV?

If the mp3 is already 44kHz then it would not be resampled.
