down sampling from 192 khz to 48 khz

I am trying to convert FLAC 24 bit 192 khz files to FLAC 24 bit 48 khz files (bit rate of 9,216 kbps remains unchanged). I've tried both the batch converter and a single track conversion. In both cases, file properties in Windows 11 continue to show files at 192 khz after conversion and player (sonos) continues to report it doesn't support this sampling rate. Suggestions?
