    no conversion at all

after a recent clean installation of xp pro and then your latest version of poweramp music converter I was hoping that my problem had gone but it would seem not.
when i right click on a track mp3/wav i get the "convert to" option but after selecting it i get nothing....no options box just nothing happens at all.

    am I missing something here?
with me only just reinstalling my software I would have thought no conflicts would have yet risen.

any help would be much appreciated.

    Mike.

    Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Illustrate

then reinstall from the latest download

** if you have my audio player then backup your database first

tried as you suggested but same result I'm afraid....option to "convert to" is there but then nothing.
unfortunately have to give up on this one....pity as i don't know of any other program that worls with such ease.

      thanx for your feedback....appreciate it.

Try Start >> Programs >> dbpoweramp Music Converter >> dbpoweramp Music Converter

        does that work?

Yes doing it that way does work...but the option I want is the "rightclick" option.....lots of programs give me the option to convert by going into them and adding trax but I prefer your option to just right click and convert with ease....for some unknown reason it just fails to work on my xp pro system.

i even uninstalled "jetaudio" to see if there was any conflict but there was no change there either.

I had this problem some months back with the program and after recently doing a clean installation of my OS i thought i'd give it another try.....unfortunately I still have the problem....pity cause it's a great prog.

thanx again for trying to solve this problem.

          Mike.

            radical solution last night...

formatted system and reinstalled programs and tested after each installation.
now the music converter is running fine which suggest to me a conflict of interests with other software.....i don't suppose i will ever find out what program was causing it but with me constantly testing it after each new program installation if the same error occurs i will report it here just in case any other users have the same problem.

            thanx for your help.

            Mike.
