Will not convert due to encryption.

I was trying to convert some wma files and it goes through the process then ends with the error message "is encrypted which dMC is not able to decode." Is there anything that I can do to decode these file to mp3?

The two main methods to convert protected WMA to MP3 are:

    1. Burn the WMA files to CD (using WMP) and then rip the burned tracks as MP3.

    2. Play the WMA files and record the songs as they are played. On my machine I can record 'what I hear', however you might have to connect the line-out of your sound card to the line-in.

P.S. Maybe something should be posted as part of the FAQ?

Thanks. I never thought of doing it that way, but I am sure that just might work. Luckily I have good editing software and don't have to use Window's recorder. LOL. Thanks again.
