Installing a Codec

Hi,
I need to convert an AAC file into an MP3. I've downloaded the codec for this and ran the .exe file. I tried to convert the file again, it still says that I haven't installed the Codec and points me to the download site.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

For AAC there are Encoders and Decoders, you need the Decoder.
