Codec not recognised?

Just downloaded the AAC codec and when I try to convert from mp3 to AAC the format isn't in the drop down menu.

Anyone know what's up?

It's definately installed,I installed the Ogg Vorbis codec at the same time and I can convert to that format.

Did you download the correct codec as there are separate versions for decoding and encoding? Which version did you install?

Yeah I realised I've installed the decoder thinking it was an encoder,is there an encoder on this site? That was the only AAC codec I could see but maybe I'm blind
