It sounds like you are running the installer each time to run it, after installing look in the dock >> launchpad dBpoweramp should be listed in there to run.

The install icon on your desktop, right click >> eject

Upgraded to new version yesterday. Now DBpoweramp does not open like before. I was able to right click on icon, click on open and it world open to DBpoweramp window. Now goes through verification, wants me to drag to install, asks "Do you want to open" etc etc. Quite a complex process to get into the program. Probably need to completely uninstall the program and reinstall. Unaware how to do this. On MACbook air.
