When I try to convert a .rm file to wave, I got this error "The file 'D:\new\LNS1.rm' is encrypted which dMC is not able to decode."

Can anybody help me how to over come this

There's two methods I know will work 100% for any protected content.

1. If the file will play in say iTunes, WMPlayer or RealAudio, chances are the software, and the licence, allows for at least one burn to a standard AudioCD. So, you just burn the AudioCD and then rip it right back to an unprotected format.

2. If burning to audio cd somehow doesn't work, there's always the loopback solution. Remember, anything you hear can be recorded. So, just plug a wire into the line out/speaker of you soundcard to the line-in of your soundcard and use something like Auxiliary Input to record what is playing.
