MP3 to WMA Problems

Hi,

I'm sure this is probably something simple, but I am having a lot of difficulty converting mp3 files to wma using dBpowerAMP Music Converter.

Whenever I attempt to convert a file, i get the following error message:

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\usergarry\Desktop\poly\wma\xxxx.wav.TEMP. wav' could not be opened.

Can anybody please help me with this? I've tried everything and its driving me insane!

I am not understanding somehting, it seems to be trying to write a wave file, not wma.
