Hi,
Recently I started ripping to .mpc (musepack) in addition to .ogg and .mp3 using dBpowerAmp, direct from CDs.
Suddenly my .mpc files started appearing with garbled ID3V1 tags: The title and album fields were truncated (after about 29 chars or so) and the comment field, always blank, suddenly had a bizzare entry for each track: "PETAGEXÐ". This occurred suddenly. One CD ripped fine (to ApeTag 2.0, I checked), and the next to a garbled ID3V1. So far I found only 1 CD where this happens. But what if it happens with more CDs? How can I get my normal tags back?
Anyone got any ideas?
One other small something happened when I upgraded to Release 10.1. Just as for R10.0, I have the Popup Info tabs in Explorer turned on - useful feature. But since R10.1, it squawks (dialog box) every time I use Eplorer to move a file from one folder to another. And it squawks a LOT - really annoying.
Thanks,
Ernie.
