Can't decode AC3 5.1-files

What functioned the past years without any problems now doesn't function any more: I can't decode AC3 5.1-files (mostly to FLAC 2.0). The conversions end in files of a few KB size. I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, actual build, and dBpoweramp 17.4. DirectShow Decoder (Release 3) and DirectShow codec (Release 1) are installed, and configured, so .ac3 shows up under DirectShow Decoder in the in dBpoweramp Control Center. Both, AC3File (version 0.6b), and AC3Filter (version 2.6b) are installed, as well. AC3 2.0-files just work fine, but not AC3 5.1-files. Any help highly appreciated, and many thanks in advance.

We recommend a different ac3 decoder now, uninstall the AC3Filter and install:

Ac3 5.1 decoding now works fine again. Thanks a lot. Should I deinstall AC3File, too?

Ok. I installed LAVFilters with the predefined settings. Should I make there any adjustments for dBpoweramp?
