Fraunhofer Encoder

Can the Fraunhofer Encoder shown in Codec Central be downloaded and installed in dMC latest version without the optional Power Pack?

Not that I'm unhappy with Lame--just heard somewhere that Fraunhofer was the ultimate.

I'm a new user and love this program. Simple. Elegant. Superb fidelity.

Lame is better than Fraunhofer in all areas except sub-128Kbit/s CBR bitrates, so if you are doing low bitrate encodes, Fraunhofer is better, anything else, use Lame. Please read my MP3 Encoder Comparison for more info on why.
