unable to convert music files

an error report that says it cant open the music files appears when i want to convert my music files from WMA to MP3. may i know how to solve this problem?

dMC can not be used to convert protected WMA files. Are they protected?

Currently there are two indirect methods to convert protected WMA files:
1. Burn then to a CD (using WMP) and then rip them (from the CD) as MP3
2. Play them in dAP (or WMP) and use software on your PC to record the music as it plays
