Problem with File Selector Add on

    Great product overall..but...
on two different computers I am using File Selector add on to convert several hundreds (in one case) and several thousand (in another case) files from .wav to mp3.
In each computer, one running win 2k and other windows 2000 server, after doing about 10-30 files, it simply stops and returns to home screen or worse, says there is no disk in a drive (thought it was A but it was not)
    Any ideas?

Incidently I still use Shuffler and it works just fine..but was hoping to upgrade to DBPoweramp to improve my 320kbs MP3 encoding....

You might have a playlist that is pointing to A:, the Shuffler will not touch playlists, anyhow in File Selector, uncheck all the unwanted file types.

        Thanks.....one more question.
since standards are changing, and storage is cheap, I have just ripped my CD collection to wav. That is my basic collection now. I am going to have several derivatives of that: one 320 Lame to play on a home system, and an 192 vbr or ogg to play on a portable mp3 player. Question: should the lower bit rate MP3s be derived from the original wav or simply the 320 mp3? Will it make any quality difference in the end, which file (wav or 320MP3) is the original? thanks for all the help.

For transcoding yo uare best from the original wave, although you cannot hear a difference between mp3 @ 320Kbps, the Ogg encoder might not like it.
