No, we are happy with the performance of FDK. There might be a new X-HE AAC encoder included at some point, but that is for very low bit rates, such as 64kbps.

there's a new fdk version out now hope y'all update it in the next dbpoweramp version

We are using the latest FDK sdk. Version numbers are confusion because the SDK has a version number, and the FDK pre packaged encoder has another version number, people take the latter (v4 I think) and assume we are not using the latest (v2 of the SDK).

on this page https://sourceforge.net/projects/ope...files/fdk-aac/ it says modified 4-28 so shouldn't that mean most recently though?
