Song on my Burned CD come out very SLOW

Hey Guys,
I'm kinda new to the dbpower amp. I actually found it very easy to upload music from my CD's onto the hard drive of my computer.... The problem I'm having actually is after I've burned these songs onto a CD. Unlike the songs that I've downlaoded of the internet, the ones I burned from my on CD's (using db power amp) are very slow sounding in my stereo. It sounds as if I have a record on the slowest possible setting. Am I doing something wrong with my procedure of getting it onto the hard drive? Should I have the settings of my Db poweramp at something else? Could anyone point me into the right direction as to how to get this thing working. Thanx, Mike

How do the songs sound when you play them on your PC? What software did you use to burn them onto a CD?

The software I use to burn the Cds is Musicmatch. The songs on my PC sound perfect, but when they are burnt onto CD they are ver slowed down.

What format and settings are you using to rip the files originally?

When I coverted the CD's onto my computer I think I was using a biterate of only about 128, but I tried even the 320 setting recently and that didn't seem to help. I also had my dbpoweramp settings at 'constant bitrate' and my set bits at 'orginal.' It was also set at stereo.
When I ripped off a CD with musicmatch I set the recording format at 128kbps, which is CD recording quality.
I don't know if this info is helping, I hope so.

All the files that I convert onto my PC are put into MP3 format.

Have you tried playing the CDs you created on your PC? If so, how do they sound?

So if you play the burned CDs on your PC they also appear to be slow? Have you tried playing the CDs on a different stereo system?

I am trying to work out if it is a problem with your CD player rather than the CDs themselves.

The mp3 player mustn't like the encoding settings (bit rate) used, try a lower bit rate.

I actually have tried these burned CDs in a number of stereos......same reaction every time. I've also tried lowering the bitrate to the lowest and that doesn't seem to help. IS it at all possible if I have a corrupt file on the dbpoweramp.....could one of you guys suggest a better version, and where I could get that....maybe email it to me?

If it plays fine on the PC then the mp3s are fine (otherwise they would play slow on the pc also).

I had a similar problem, but not on a burned CD; just on my PC. You see, the only way I can convert some files is to use the Auxillary Input program (their corresponding codec doesn't seem to work) and then play the songs on another program.

Well, the song is being converted, but it plays back at a slower tempo and lower pitch than the original (which results in about 30 extra seconds being added to the song). The strangest part of all is that I have tried different bitrates (as low as 32 kbps), and even converting to different formats (including .wav), but the result is always the same, BUT, about 1 in 20 attempts, if I do a "test run" by trying to convert just a portion of the song, the converted excerpt plays correctly. Yet, if I then immediately try to convert the entire song without changing the settings from the "test run," all of it comes out slow. My system's resource use never went above 25% during the recording process.

Also, I do not have the Power Pack installed. What can I do?
