I have downloaded the dbpowerAmp Music Converter and everything thing else that goes with it, I think. Using a post from October 27, 2003, http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2213, I tried to convert some MIDI files that I had downloaded through Windows Media Player and saved as MIDI files to WAVE files in order to burn them to a CD (I use Nero software).
I ran into problems with the Input selection; when I opened up the Recording control window, my only choices were: CD Player, Microphone, Aux, and Line In. The insturctions said to use "Stereo Mix." I tried all the options I had and followed all the other instructions. Only problem is that when I test-recorded and recorded, I got no reading on the VU meter, just a little flicker on the left side of the meter. So I am not getting any sound.
I use Windows 98 and I have a SoundMAX sound card.
I would appreciate some help! Thanks,
Sweet Pea
