Converting to MP3 Error?

I used dBpoweramp to rip a CD to FLAC and then convert to MP3. dBpoweramp no longer converts the files and I keep getting this error code Error converting to mp3 (Lame),Encountered 'FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_SEARCH_FOR_FRAME_SYNC' Am I doing somthing wrong? I used to be able to convert to MP3 without any problems.

It is likely your flac file is corrupted.

Try a different program to see if it can read the file.

I used dBpoweramp to rip the same CD to FLAC again and this time it worked when I converted the files to MP3. I'm not sure what happened the first time. Like you said the files were probably corrupt. Thanks for your help.
