Lowering the bitrate from 32 to 24 bits

Hello,
I need to lower the bitrate from 32 to 24 bits (I'm converting from flac to aiff). Do I need to use Dither (Triangular) in this case, or set None?

Triangular would not hurt.

These settings will be correct (I also lower the frequency to 192):
Bit Depth (32 float)
Resample
Bit Depth (24 bit, with dither)

Or Bit Depth (32 float) not required?

It does not hurt to have bitdepth 32 at start
