DSD conversion to ALAC

Hello,

I have a couple of test files in DSD which I wanted to convert to ALAC (for hearing them underway).

1. DSD64 files are converted
2. DSD512 files are not converted; instead error messages are displyed:

Error converting to Apple Lossless, '/System/Volumes/Data/net/music/flac/NativeDSD/2574-NDSD017-nativedsd-music-free-starter-pack-dsd512-2ch/2_Shostakovich_Symphony-no-5-in-D-minor-Allegretto-excerpt-from-FR724SACD_512fs-2ch.dsf' to '/Users/homsch/Music/dBpoweramp/_.m4a'
   Error Converting from 'Format Tag: 1  Channels: 2  Bits per Sample: 24  Samples Per Second: 2822400  Bytes Per Second: 16934400  Block Align: 6  CB Size: 0' to 'Format Tag: 1  Channels: 2  Bits per Sample: 24  Samples Per Second: 96000  Bytes Per Second: 576000  Block Align: 6  CB Size: 0'

What limitations exist for converting from DSDxx to another format?

I'm having the same problem with some DSD512 files from NativeDSD - I've tried converting to DSD256 (which will play through JPlay), FLAC and ALAC. Let me know if you want a copy of these files as well?
