cd ripper and batch converter not working

I opened CD Ripper today. Application opened and immediately closed. Downloaded reinstall. this won't run at all. Also tried running CD Ripper in w8 compatability mode with same result. I have just purchased Perfect Tunes as well and application installation exe won't run. Disabled antivirus (Webroot) but same results. Batch Converter won't open at all. Any ideas?

Have now fixed it. Completely removed programs, restarted PC and installations worked and ran.
