The dbPA property handler however works as expected and shows embedded artwork if included, so the issue concerns only the thumbnail provider.

I've also upgraded JRiver MC from 26.x to 27.0.20 and pane thumbnails don't display properly (files and "currently playing" thumbs are unaffected). Could be a conflict between handlers supplied by dBpoweramp and JRiver.

I can't confirm it, I haven't JRiver installed, but have installed more thumbnail handlers, guessingly for different file types.

Can people say which was the last version of dbpoweramp where the thumbnail worked for them please.

Same problem here : the thumbnails have disappeared after upgrading from 16.x to 17.2 (both reference registered).

Running Windows 10 Pro 19041.508 64-bits, French version, clean reinstalls of Windows as well as dBpoweramp 64-bits, no security add-ons (standard Windows fare, Defender et al.), default dBpoweramp config (same when playing with the params)

Just upgraded W10 from 2009 to 20H2 and the miniatures are back...

I usually wait a few months before upgrading stable software to a major release.

Yes, perfectly. I guess that the installations (R17.2 and/or MC 27) messed with miniature handlers and that the update to W10 20H2 reinstalled proper ones.
