Hey Spoon, would there be a tangible speed increase if the Pre-Cache had an option to pre-cache to RAM, especially if the user has a lot of cores? I'm running with 192GB of EEC RAM so wondering if that would be a smart option. If I create a RAM drive it's certainly much faster, but not sure if there would be a larger bottleneck copying the converted files back onto the drive...

You could try both with on and off, with SSD drives the difference should not be as pronounced.
