unable to convert files

I was able to convert music from audio CDs before but now I keep getting this message:

The CODEC required to decompress 'M:\xxx.cda' could not be opened.
Unable to access CD Drive 'M:\xxx.cda'

I don't understand why this happened, I didn't even reconfigure anything... help please?

Which codec are you trying to convert to? Have you treid re-installing that specific codec? Have you tried converting to a different codec to make sure it isn't a flawed codec file?

Try using Audio CD input, also make sure you are logged on as a user with Administration rights.
