Re: CoreConverter - error when filename contains "&"
Thanks. I must be doing something wrong. EDIT - just saw my mistake. Somehow the & in my program resulted in an additional quote in front of "-infile=
Sorry about that, had not seen it.Last edited by hopkins; 06-24-2020, 10:25 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: CoreConverter - error when filename contains "&"
Just tried with & in filename and the conversion works fine.
What do you convert from and to? What is the full source folder and filename? where are the files stored? local hdd?Leave a comment:

Re: CoreConverter - error when filename contains "&"
Thanks, but there is no issue having a filename on Windows with "&" - the characters which are not allowed are: <>:"/\|?*
Moreover, there is no issue with having & when using the batch converter program, for example.
So I think the issue is specific to CoreConverter.Leave a comment:

No, the & is not allowed by the file and operating system.

CoreConverter - error when filename contains "&"
Hi,
On Windows 10, using CoreConverter.exe with an input filename that contains the caracter "&" (as in Body & Soul) generates an error. Is there a way to include a filename with that caracter ?
