    Re: Real Player

Try to reinstall dmc. It's maybe because you have installed an other program, that have chaged the right-click menu. Or just try to open dmc and pick the file you want to convert. Cheers Tes95 :komisch12

      Re: Real Player

i'm using an earlier version of the converter, so i'm not sure if this applies to your problem...

realmedia files (*.rmj) aren't recognised by the program, but realaudio files (*.ra) are. the stupid thing about this is that they are both the EXACT SAME TYPE OF FILE. literally the only difference is the name of the file extension.

what you have to do is get a program to rename your files. i used "a.f.5 rename files" www.fauland.com (freeware, not flashy, but gets the job done).

so yeah, basically install and run af5, run a windows search for all files with .rmj extention, drag them into the af5 window and use the replace function to change the extensions to .ra -- then the converter will recognise them, and you're in business.

(just a note -- i had been using realone player to rip cds for more than a year, and i got an mp3 player for xmas, so you can imagine my frustration in having to mess around and convert my extensive library, anyway, couldn't have done it without dbpoweramp, thanks guys)
