Thank you, that's fine; one more question - please see attached. What is this about?

"Windows Defender is restricting dBpoweramp from accessing the system"? The link takes on to a page that does not help

Microsoft have updated Windows Defender to include an option called "Controlled folder access" this basically limits every program from accessing key areas of the system unless permitted on an individual program basis. By default this option is off for Windows, however if it is enabled you should add the programs

It not only about the CD drive it is about folder access, dBpoweramp is not able to read from your HDDs because your system is blocking it, follow the steps on that page.
