Problem converting nvf to mp3

I am trying to convert my nvf files to mp3s. the nvf file runs about 50 minutes, but the converted mp3 is only 15 minutes. where are those 35 minutes gone?

what did you use to convert the .nvf file? dmc doesn't have a codec for that.
