Converting m4a to mp3 format from Zoom

I have loaded and updated all the codecs but I still get an error when I try to convert from m4a to mp3. The error says: Error converting to mp3 (Lame), 'H:\ZOOM\Audios\GMT20200509-123456_Abcdefg.m4a' to 'D:\ZOOM\Audios\GMT20200509-123456_Abcdefg.mp3'
Unable to decode m4a file (is corrupt or not supported audio type).

I don't think that the file is corrupted because it plays fine on Windows 10 in the Windows Media Player.

I'm having the same problem (Using version 16.6 with Win10 Home) with Zoom m4a files (cannot convert to mp3 where it's a good file (can be listened to).

Thank you for your files, the issue exists no exists with R17 of dBpoweramp, much work went into improving the m4a decoder to pass problematic files.

But it's NOT problematic files !
Are you sure that version R17 will work with these Zoom files?

Yes I tested the file sent and it converted without issues.
