Hi, if I want to replicate the itunes store AAC purchases, which is constrained VBR 256 kbps at "max" quality, can I do that on a windows computer? Is the quicktime AAC at "max" setting?

Re: AAC quicktime setings
If the files have already been constrained to VBR 256, then reconverting them will not give anything better. -
Re: AAC quicktime setings
Itunes store purchases are 256 kbps constrained VBR at quicktime "max" quality. Can I replicate the setting with DBPoweramp with itunes installed in a windows computer?
I tried 256 kbps constrained VBR in the music converter but the file sizes are less than the same master being sold on the itunes store. So can the encoder settings be tweaked to "max" quality?
Basically put, how to convert files to exact same parameter as itunes store purchased AAC? The purchased ones are 256 kbps CVBR at "max" quicktime setting.Comment

It used to be a long time ago, you would have to test for the recent versions.Comment
