I have tried to convert this one CD to MP3. The actuall convert goes fine but for some reason the tags won't be encoded. What can I do? BTW, I have converted 3 other CDs just fine but then when I got to the 4th I got the problem.

    Re: Tags

It probabbly wrote a ID3v2 tag (titles too long for v1), run 'dMC Configuration' and set the tagging to Never v2.

But then I have always had trouble with the CD in the past. Like when it wouldn't be found at CDDB even though it was there. Also, How about setting it to both V1 & V2.

Hold the mouse over the Encoded file, in the popup info does it show the tag?

All it shows is - File, Location, Extension, Length, Size, Uncompressed, Comp. Ratio, Bitrate, Frequency, Channels, Channel Mode, Level, Encoded By. That's all it shows.

Try the never v2 option, ID3v1 tags should work no matter what.

It will be something else then, if you load the track into Notepad and look at the end of the file, you should see the tag.

Very odd, are you using Release 10.1 of dBpowerAMP?

Try converting to another format for that CD, such as Ogg, are the tags written for the ogg files?
