    Error Series with every CD

I've been trying to back up my CDs lately, but every ripper I've tried except the Win Media Player somehow fails to work. In the past, I've had no trouble with ripping, and not much has changed. When I try to rip with dbPower AMP MC - Audio CD Input, I get a series of three errors for each track:

    CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\TrackXX.cda'

Error whilst running DSP effect, lack of disk space? Temp file 'c:\XX'

Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.

I've got almost a hundres Gigs of free HD space, and I'm using a CD drive I've ripped with in the past, as I know it supports digital extraction. I'm using the 2000/NT Device IO, but I've got Admin privs and have tried the other option, and I'm using MMC, which has worked in the past.

Deselecting 'volume normalize' in the Rip with Options got rid of the DSP effect, but I still can't get rid of the other two.

    Any suggestions??? Thanks a ton
