Perhaps, if they are renamed to .rm and use the real audio codec.

From a command prompt, change into folder then

        rename *.rm* *.rm

          What's a command prompt?

Sorry to be a pain, but this is all new to me. Can you give me some simple, step by step instructions? - Cheers.

what is your operating system? basically you can also use windows explorer and right click over the file and rename the extension from .rmx to .rm

the command spoon gave might be better if you have hundreds of these files to rename all together. a command promt i think he meant like a dos prompt and cd into the directory where the rmx files are.

No, just tryed re-naming them. It doesn't actually change the format. You can re-name them to .RM, but they are still .RMX files.

If you have ME, another simple way is to right-click the file, select properties and the file name will pop up in a box that can be edited. Take off that last "x" from the extension. Apply the change and you are set.

Please rename the RMX file to *.rm, and you can play it with QuickTime.
and then click "Record" button in Alive WMA MP3 Recorder to save the audio into MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, and VOX files.

Click the following URL to download Alive WMA MP3 Recorder:
Alive WMA MP3 Recorder is the professional sound recorder software that records any audio source from your computer into MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG and VOX. Alive WMA MP3 Recorder - the only MP3 and WAV recorder you need.

he doesn't need to buy an mp3 recorder to do this. just rename and use dap to play it or dmc to convert it.
