If I use the WavPack Release 13 codec to encode a WAV file, and then decode the WV file back to WAV using wvunpack.exe (the current 5.2.0 version), the decoded WAV file is not identical to the original WAV. Eight bytes in the RIFF chunk are different: the RIFF ChunkSize which gets changed to 0x26, and the data Subchunk2Size which gets changed to 0. This of course makes the file unplayable.
If I decode the WV file using the dMC Wave decoder, the output is identical to the original WAV.
The WavPack Release 10 encoder doesn't have this problem.
