I downloaded the dmc file selector, and every time I want to convert files with it, it says that it's converting for about 2 seconds, and then I get an error message that the program has to close. I tried uninstalling the file selector, thinking that maybe it wasn't a good download, and downloaded the file selector again - but to no avail- I still got the same error message. I was thinking that maybe the file selector availiable for download on this site is corrupted, so maybe spoon should upload a definite working version. Is anyone else having this problem?

If it installed then it is the correct version. Converting what to what? have you tried coverting to 'Test Conversion'? -
Re: Problem with dmc file selector !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I, too, am seeing this problem. After making my file selection (of .FLAC files), and click "Convert to" (to convert to .MP3 files), the following error information is displayed in the standard Windows XP application error window:
AppName: musicconverter.exe
AppVer: 4.2.1.0
ModName: musicconverter.exe
ModVer: 4.2.1.0
Offset: 00004400

Using File Selector and specifying Test Conversion still results in the same problem.

I've since found a new problem that I will post as a separate thread.
