dMC won't read one of my CDs

I haven't had any problems with any of my other cds, but when I tried to rip and encode a Manheim Steamroller CD, it only shows that it can see one track and the freedb results that it returns for that track aren't anywhere close to what's on the cd. I tried to rip it with another ripping program, again with no luck. Are some cds protected against ripping or am I doing something wrong?
