Tag to file name option?

Hi all,

I cannot seem to find an option to within the MC to while converting change the file name to that of the song name and index number.

Is there one?

(I know I can do it the other way around - file name to tag.)

By index you mean track number?

Set naming to [origpath]\[track] [title]

Hi Spoon,

yes thats right - index number.

this is only necessary when converting between formats. Say if I have purchased on Qobuz or equivalent and wish to convert to another format.

Sorry for stupid question but where do I add that string you suggested?

On the naming page, where it shows 'Output To' choose dynamic naming.
