I'm trying to convert an MP3 source (64Kbps CBR/22KHz/stereo/170Mb) using the following encoders
and comparing them to the iTunes-created AAC version (iTunes 12.9.1.4) using the same settings (LC/64Kbps CBR/22KHz) but the file sizes generated by dBpoweramp are larger by approximately 30MB compared to the file generated by iTunes. I'm expecting them to be at least closer to the iTunes-generated file or smaller. Not sure what is happening here.
Thanks.
- m4a AAC Encoder (FDK) Release 6
- m4a QAAC (iTunes) Encoder Release 1
